About Eloise

A young woman with long brown hair and blue eyes, smiling, standing outdoors in front of green leafy bushes.

I’m Eloise — founder of The Postpartum Planning Studio, and passionate advocate for calm, supported beginnings.

Originally from the UK, I began my career working as a researcher at Yale University, studying the neuroscience of pregnancy and the early years.

I have gone on to work with families as a professional nanny, supporting parents through some of the most transformative moments of their lives. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with newborns, infants, multiples, preemies, and parents from all walks of life, gaining deep insight into what families truly need in the early weeks and months after birth.

Through both my academic training and years of hands-on experience, I noticed a recurring theme: while parents prepared extensively for birth, they were often left without the practical and emotional support they needed once their baby arrived.

The Postpartum Planning Studio was born from that gap — a way to help families prepare intentionally for life after birth and create the peaceful, joy-filled postpartum experience they dream of.

Today, I live in New Hampshire with my husband, a resident anesthesiologist, and our sweet Bernedoodle, Teddy. When I’m not working with families, you’ll find me out on the trails, cycling, or curled up with a cup of tea and a good book.

My mission is simple: to help parents feel calm, confident, and cared for as they welcome their little one into the world.
